Thanks for visiting my blog. You encapsulated nicely how I feel about Star Wars generally and Lucas specifically:

“The portrayal of women in the Star Wars saga is perpetually dismal, varied only by slight interruptions which make the missed opportunities in the rest all the more unbearable.”

It’s the brief glimpse that made me want to highlight those female characters who are more than just slight interruptions.
