Neil Gaiman is considering switching from Vista to Ubuntu. . . and when he visits MIT in May, I’m sure there will be plenty of people willing to help.
Recently switched, happy. The main change that struck me since last time I used a Linux desktop was that GNOME has gotten more usable than Windows in many respects — the text and design are well-thought-through.
Hardware support: still a bitch. But if he’s on Vista, it’s not like it’s compatible with any of his hardware either. :p
Can you tell him to swing by Beijing soon?
I’ll see what I can do.
