I have found that the joy and satisfaction I get from positive feedback (or constructively negative feedback) is insufficient to counterbalance the irritation due to pompous trolls and other Internet nuisances. By word count, the former outweigh the latter, but the ire per comment is too great. So, until my moods change, comments are turned off.
